Not too long ago I asked myself how much feeling great was worth to me. My answer was, “Whatever it takes.” This after suffering through a lifetime of chronic back pain. And after having been through the full gamut of surgery, pills, bed rest, canes, and “don’t do anything that could possibly bring on the pain” I decided to try a trainer. Treating the symptoms no longer worked. I needed to get at the reason for all the debilitating pain.
About 6 years ago I slowly limped in and got started with Jay Morton and the journey began. Today I’m about 50 lbs lighter and pain free, and am able to do things I haven’t been able to do for 30 years. I’m absolutely convinced this is because Jay worked with me on the cause of my problem rather than the symptom. He understood this from the beginning when I didn’t. I just wanted the pain to go away.
The workouts are always hard and I’ve often wondered where he got the patience to stick with me when my progress is so “slow.” I think it’s because he knows it will work if I stick with it. Oh, so right. Jay has proven to be a perfect match for me. He has a solid understanding of what’s going on with my back. He’s always focused and professional. More than that though, I consider him to be a true friend who cares about how I feel.
I feel great, Jay. Thank you.
